I Waited 2 Years for This?

Dear Jack:

Two years is a long time to wait for someone.  I think it's rather arrogant that you'd think I'd wait that long and be loyal.  It's not like you were locked up somewhere in China this time. You've led me on for weeks now-sneaking tidbits in to entice me to come back.  You think just like that, I'll drop what I'm used to doing on Sunday nights now and come running back to you.  Shamefully, like a whipped dog, I did just that.  I have to tell you though, the mojo was gone and  I'm not impressed.  In fact, I was a bit bored with it all.  I'll give you one more shot to impress me tomorrow night, but if you don't, you're going the way of Dr. Doug Ross, McDreamy and House.  You'd better bring your best game.

I've never watched that show but hear it's a good one. Every time I get hooked on a show they cancel it so I wait for DVDs now! And yes to MSWF!

I had every intention of watching it last night, but the Golden Globes won over. I had rented the first season to try and catch up on it over the summer, and have seen it off and on. It is just the kind of show I would enjoy, so I will most likely watch it and or rent it to catch up. Sounded disappointing though. Many TV shows that I used to enjoy have had that effect on me. I have been very disappointed with the quality of many things lately.
Like our local Journal paper. They now are asking us to pay for it when it used to be free, but there is NOTHING in there. What the Hell!!! Put some effort in there people. Sorry about the rant....

What happened to the forever promising nights of "Sex"??? Now that was one program that NEVER disappointed!! Maybe it's time for your Jack to do what Miss. Bradshaw did. Give up while his fans are still happy with his show, and spread a rumor of a MOVIE to come within the next few years.

P.S.~ I'm still hooked on House, and McDreamy.... but my personal favorite is Prison Break. However, if those prisoners don't stop wearing their shirts all program long, I may change my mind.

WT- I'm talking about the TV show 24.

Rose-I'm looking into things now. The fairgrounds are halfway between Baltimore and Frederick, MD. Lord help me, I'm thinking of taking a spinning class. I still haven't looked at all of the offerings.

Brenda- they implausibly brought back one character then added different ones. I miss some of the old ones and I'll have to see if they make it back.

Sebba,I miss Sex in the City too. I still haven't seen the movie. We'll have to watch it together one day.

I've only seen Bauer once or twice. I enjoyed the show but since I'm not much of a TV watcher, I never remember when it is on.

I do like Superstars of dance, I'm enjoying the different countries dancers. I love anything India...and also the ireland dancers. Have you seen it.

Mm I watched the first series of 24and thought that was quite sufficient. The format was original but the second series it was pretty boring. Think that happens a lot as Brenda says. I didn't like Prison Break and can't hack House at all. Hugh Laurie just isn't credible to me in this role, come on, he's really Bertie Worcester! Now Jeeves and Wooster, that was a series and a half!

Was the Golden Globes the programme where Kate Winslett totally lost the plot? How embarrassing was that? It curled my toes!

hee-hee...I'm still LOL at Anonymous wanting the "perps" on Prison Break to take their shirts off. Come on-give us a lttle eye candy Sunday nights--the horridness of Monday morning awaits.

Have to say, I got SO TIRED of 24. Tired of all the totally expected plot twists. Tired of watching The Man get screwed, and then save the world yet again.

It's a tired series. Sad, though, since the previous seasons had been really good.
