Like Clockwork

Every year, I have to watch White Christmas. I know it's goofy and sentimental, but I like it. I like the beginning, the middle and the end and all the parts in between. I love the snow song on the train and Danny and Vera dancing to The Best Things Happen While You're Dancing. Irving Berlin was a genius. This year, my sweetie bought me tickets to the live performance. He must love me because he's not too crazy about musicals. Tonight, we're going. Rosemary, Bing, Danny and Vera won't be there, but I won't let that keep me from enjoying the performance.

As previously confessed, I like all of the music from this movie. This song though, I like most of all:

What's your favorite holiday movie tradition?

You hit the nail on the head, chickie. Favorite movie, favorite song. Also when Bing and Danny sing it. Have a fabulously wonderful time tonight.

Can't play video on my "new" computer, but if that's the song "Sisters", it's my girls' and my favorite. Both my girls LOVE this movie and know the songs by heart. As a matter of fact, THEY'D know just by the scene which song it was!! Have fun!

I am not sure if I have ever seen this one all the way through, but I think I have. Going My Way is good also. I have a Bette Midler CD of Rosemary Clooney's songs and I love it!

Yes RC, that song counts.

Brenda, I don't know how you've gotten through the holidays without watching this all the way through! I know it's corny, but I love it.

Yes, he must love, worship, adore and be obsessed with you after 23 years to purchase tickets to this event. He must be a great guy. I am so jealous that you are married to the perfect man!

Just make sure that he does not wear shoes that look his Dad's. That would ruin the entire evening.

My favorite is A Christmas Story. I and my younger son love it; hubby and older son hate it. Too bad for them! It must be watched!
