In My Dreams

Oberon, Titania and Puck with Fairies Dancing

Over the years, I've pondered why it was the rich and famous got admitted to the hospital for exhaustion: what made them so tired they required medical attention?  How do I get a rest like that?  I don't need weeks, nor a hospital stay-just a little dream time.  Now where are those packing fairies?  One just can't get good help these days.

LOL, Just thinking about all your packing EXHAUSTS me. I think I NEVER want to move again and it's been two years since our last move.
One thing though. You don't get any rest in the hospital..... It must be the drugs the rich and famous want when they "admit" themselves?
Wish I could help you pack!

I wonder if "exhaustion" is a euphemism for something mental health-ish.
If you ever do find those fairies, when they're done, will you please send them my way? I would guess that they're pretty good at cleaning, too.

Try to keep your eye on the prize. New home environment... close to knitting store. Did that help? Wish we lived close then I would help you however I could.

Yeah, I'm exhausted as well, just thinking about all the packing and unpacking you'll be doing. Love the Fairies picture!

Happy packing! Ha!

Hugs,

Renie

What is it they say about faires unicorns and good men - at least 2 of them are a myth. I love my man. Would like to find a cleaning fairy. :-)))

Betty-you think it was drugs? I thought it was just fatigue. I'm naive.

Debra-I'm near to experiencing something mental health-ish myself.

Brenda- I'm ready to pack a suitcase and run away with me, myself and I.

Renie- I have to unpack it too? Well whatever isn't unpacked in 1 month is getting donated.

Ruth- you may love him, but is he good? hahahaha. Just trying to clarify the myth thing.

The packing fairy is within you. Breathe deep and concentrate, she will appear.

Me thinks you had to be an "invalid" to get "hospitalized for exhaustion." And after you got home from the hospital, you stayed in a bed in a darkened living room with people tiptoeing around you. Somehow I imagine your new living room coming together as a bright and beautiful place that gives you rest. And least that's my hope. Try packing your followers with you...we'll try to send packing fairie magi--and keep the dust to ourselves. Good luck!

I don't think I'd want to go to hospital for a "rest" not these days anyway with all the bugs that tare there.
I feel sorry for you packing though I know what it's like. I used to buy and sell and move every two years for about 20 years. I had it down to a fine art at one point, just didn't unpack most stuff. I haven't moved for 10 years now so I consider myself settled. That's the longest I've ever lived in one house...ciao

So true...we all need a time of rest to be taken care of Rudee- especially you with your emotionally intense line of work. But packing is hopeful and filled with promise...Did you get the house of your dreams? From the other comments, I think you did!!!Yea! <3

Oh Rudee it must be awful packing up, I hated it last time we moved. I have too much stuff and I can't bear to throw it out. My poor daughter will just have to do it when I pop my clogs.

Do they get rest in hospital. Well maybe if you get a private room. When I had my kiddiwinks I used to get really annoyed at them waking me up at 5.30am for a cup of tea. It's the middle of the night for goodness sake. I didn't even drink the stuff and they wouldn't give me coffee or milk.

Sorry I don't have any fairies at the bottom of the garden to send you. I'd lend you my daughter in law if I could. She's the most organised person I know. She'd have you packed up in a jiffy. She doesn't have any clutter or stuff in her house but then again she doesn't knit or sew! Talk about minimalist!
