Why, oh, why, oh, why?

No, no! Really, I'll be good and promise not to chew anymore sandals, tissues, traumeel, telephones, garbage, black walnuts, yarn, grass, garden vegetables, x-box controls, toothpaste and the like. I will not lick your sandwich when you aren't looking and I won't eat the butter from the counter, either. At least I swear I'll try not to do that. Butter is my weakness. I will not bark my head off at Isaac the Pit bull. I will not steal the master's chair and instead, I will lay on the floor or in my crate. Cross my paws. Just let me stay home.

See? I'm quite comfortable here. No. My butt is not too big for this chair. Why do you ask?

Yes, friends, Leo has a trial day at Camp Bow Wow today. He will play in the pool, the sprinkler and run around with a pack of about 15 like sized dogs. I will check on him obsessively periodically by doggie cam. He must be on his best behavior for a minimum of 3 hours, bite no handlers and absolutely must play well with the other campers.

It does not escape me that it's Friday the 13th.

He well be excited to have ones to play with, he will be a good boy and save all his antics for when he returns home!

HOPEFULLY, he will be so tired from his day out, he will nap the entire evening.

Buddha never gets into the trash, except when I've put a butter wrapper there. He loves butter, evidently.

Oh I loved this post! Barney is OUR challenge. chewing and "nosing" this way through waste baskets; pulling the toilet paper from the roll and through the house..
Good luck with Doggie camp.

I had to laugh! Leo is giving you great blogging material!!!

My dog(as seen in my picture), is 115 pounds of butter loving puppy. At my house butter will always remain in the fridge.

I hope leo makes you proud today!

I agree with Gail - Leo will be so tired out when he comes home from having fun with the other big dogs. Isn't that why we send the kids to camp?

I'm eager to find out how it went.

It's noon, and Leo has passed so far with no calls home. Evaluations are a minimum of 3 hours, so this is good news!

I've been watching the doggie cam between scrubbing toilets. It's fun to see him...not so fun to scrub.

Oh, the first pic' is so cute. He looks like he thinks he is a puppy. :)

Glad to hear he is doing well - hopefully when he comes home he will pass out and not get into any butter. :)

Fingers and paws crossed that he "passes" muster for day care. The canine companionship will be great for him.
