Sleepless in Detroit

Last night, I decided to review my retirement account before I went to bed. I do this twice a week. One by one I went through those numbers. As I got to the third one, I started to get excited thinking my ship had finally come in. I had three of the numbers and then my run stopped. I had such a hard time falling asleep after that and had to resort to counting merino sheep. At least I have a $7 winner to reinvest for Tuesday's new jackpot of 212 million. And they say it's hard to make money with current market conditions. What do they know?

That's a lot of bucks Rudee, we don't get jackpots that large here. Last week it was 48M and 4 people split it. Does any one person really need that much money? I rarely buy tickets so I guess the odds of me winning anything are low. I watched my father play for years and never win a dime. Good luck to you, you'd have fun in retirement I'm sure...ciao

Rositta, a girl can only dream-that's if she can get to sleep first.

hahaha checking your retirement account. Good one.

When you win, don't forget us! I know I would be helping out the economy a lot. It would be the little people first. Like at flea markets. They've got some interesting things at flea markets. Oh, but I guess I would need a place to bring all those interesting things... a home. It doesn't take long to become complicated.

CC, they first thing I'll do is give half to Uncle Sam. Then I'll build my charming house. Hell, I'll build a neighborhood!

Haha. You build the neighborhood, I'm moving in next door to you and Fanny.

Not a problem Flydragon, however, I'm concerned the houses will just float away with all that hot air in them!

I think we could have won the lottery a couple of dozen of times if my hubby would just buy the tickets when I call him with the winning numbers...I always think that when my I's and O's match up it's a sign form the Lottery god:>)

Distracted-that is a sign from above. It happens rarely enough.

Wow, I do not think the lotto in Missouri has ever been that big.
Luck and blessings to you next purchase.

I look at it this way: someone
usually wins. Why not you?

I tried to visit your blog last night and all of your posts were missing. Glad to see you are back up today. I have often wondered how the lives of people who win big are doing. Also, who won all of those McDonald's Monopoly money things??? Just a thought.

Brenda, I don't know where my blog goes at times. It happened several times yesterday. I'm glad it fixed itself this time.

I don't know what happens to all the winners either, but I wouldn't mind finding out first hand how it feels.
