Canine Cost-Benefit Analysis

Ground white meat turkey breast: $25.00 per week
Shredded carrots and fresh green beans: $5.00 per week
No added salt chicken stock: $5.00 per week
Whole grain rice, steel cut oats, fresh wheat germ: $8.00 per week
Hours spent cooking for the dog: 3 per week

Having a dog that feels good enough to be a makeshift pillow for a midday nap: Priceless

There is not another person on the planet who is allowed to touch this dog's hips. Just his girl Rachel.

Oh for a dogs life. Lazing around on the couch with a favorite friend, eating a dinner made especially for you, no cares or worries. We should have it so good!

One of my babes is really slowing down. He is going to be 12 next week. hip problems, scratching;he can't jump anymore. Much of the same problems as my buddy Duke. I will be plowing the front yard so he has a path to his favorite dumping ground. Chip is going on that diet starting tomorrow!!!!

Don't let their innocence fool you mom. Rachel probably negotiated 4 to 5 slices of Turkey dropped on the floor during dinner for a 1/2 hour of "hip/pillow" use. These two have always been in cahoots....if it wasn't the "dog" is was for sure "rachel".... what would they do without each other?

Sincerely,
The eldest child who usually lets the dog & her sister take the blame....KIDDING!!!!
