Join Me as I Bid Adieux

It's never good to be a nurse and find yourself working the days before, the day of and the days after a full moon. The moon was pretty, but the work was difficult. Anything that could happen out of the ordinary, did. But today is Friday and my work here is finished. The paperwork is done, the house is clean and I'm on my second Blue Moon. I'm thanking the Heavens for ripe South African oranges tonight and the genius of Belgian brewers-even if they are from Colorado.

Have a great weekend!

Your house is clean! How do you do it? Mine's never clean and I don't work now. You must have just about flogged yourself to death Rudee.

Anyway have a lovely weekend. You deserve it!

Now, dare I ask, how's the shawl going?

I had two beers on the deck last night; not Blue Moons, though I enjoy them too. Have a great weekend!

Love that song----and the beer sounds good, too. Hope today is a better one.
The full moon always beats up my daughters...

Too true. Found the refrain, "I know this night won't last forever..." bouncing around in my head yesterday afternoon. The moon beams were already doing their thing:>)
Happy weekend and a belated CHEERS!

PS. loverly rendition by the Mavericks...

Isn't it amazing how the lunar pull brings such strangeness. I used to volunteer at a free clinic so I'm familiar with how it effects a healthcare setting.

Thanks goodness there are other kinds of "moons" to mellow out the vibes.

I better stop lurking... I read your blog a lot, very funny and entertaining! As a nurse and an avid knitter I can relate!

Before I was a nurse I worked on an ambulance for years in Sacramento... Full moons always came with a healthy dose of crazy!

Glad you survived in good humor!

Boy you are right about the moon time. Babies and Boogers. Hope you didn't lose any body. You deserve a nice restful weekend. Blessings

You just had to "moon" the stressfulness of it all, as you kicked back with that great beer didn't you? My lame attempt at humor...hehe.

Winifred-I didn't say I cleaned the house. The Shawl is sucking my soul right out of me. So slooooooow.

DSBO, I knew you'd know what I meant. It was an insane week and I'm so glad it's over.

Devon, thanks for delurking, and why are you blogless? I bet you have hundreds of stories to tell!

Brenda, I did Moon the stress.

One more week gone. My house is clean too but I can't take credit for that. I love the full moon although I always get a bit weird. Have a lovely weekend and don't stress the the shawl...ciao
