Hi Rudee, I tried to view the video but it came out blank. I will check later...it looks inspired. You have a wonderful holiday too. I thought that you were saying the holiday was long...then I'm so out of touch here...I didn't realize it was the 4th of July because it's not celebrated here, too much. It's a political issue. <3

Renie- the same to you!

Cynthia, the video won't load from bloglines if that happens to be where you tried viewing. As for the holiday, I hope you can enjoy it wherever you may be.

Here's a gift from Ireland to help you celebrate: Lovely \blogger Award. This was just given to me and I was instructed to pass it on - I'm choosing bloggers who make me smile. You're definitely in that category.

That man could read the phone book and I would be entranced. Very moving and, I might add, perhaps the most perfect of speakers for these words.

He is my favorite commentator or narrator of all time. Are you off this weekend? RN have to take turns I guess. Blessings

How is it possible I could live half a century in this country and never hear these words spoken with such power and drama?

Very very grateful for this post, Rudee. Thank you!

Hope you enjoy Independence Day!
