An observation or two

You know, for as many times as this man has shoved his foot in his mouth, you'd think he'd have a larger orifice.

Um...Tony? I think those 11 men who died on your rig wouldn't mind their lives back, either.

"The Man" seems quite the same, whether in England or America; and I don't like working for "The Man."

I know, it boggles my mind that they didn't have a plan in place to cap a spill like that and it's still gushing oil.

I can't believe a company that big and powerful was not prepared for any conceivable disaster. I agree with you he is gonna choke on his words soon.

It's hard to feel sorry for someone who make a million times more than me.

Yes, it's hard to believe that no one could see this ever happening. What's truly frightening is that our Canadian government - in it's wisdom and seeing what's just happened - made a decision to discontinue these kind of contingency plans for our offshore wells.
Nuts!

What a jerk! It seems like all the propaganda the oil companies spew are like their leaking wells- uncontrollable - I hate the eco-friendly -tree-huggy type of ads Shell and BP put out on this side of the pond (=Atlantic) anyway. Look at what happened in Nigeria in 1995 with the executions of the anti-oil company activists - and now they are only getting worried if the oil reaches the tourist beaches of Florida if I understand the news reports correctly.
Good luck, I hope they sort out their act and that they pay the fines and costs incurred.
Catherine.

I think the birds and other animals coated with oil would like their life back too...
