Baaaaa

March came in like a lamb in Detroit. OK then...now I'm really worried. I'd have been much happier with a blustery day so that I could look forward to the end of winter with the idea that March would go out like a lamb rather than a lion.

Still, it was a gloriously sunny day with a high near 40 degrees and at 6 PM, I was still wearing my very new and incredibly fashionable sunglasses. They're my first pair of progressive sunglasses. I tired of my old ones--always having to lift them up to read anything, so I guess it was time. I even busted out my scrubs and left my winter clothes behind. Well, to be honest, they were all in the dirty pile, but still, scrubs are good. Scrubs mean it was warm enough in the sun to wear paper thin clothes.

I've got my fingers crossed we've seen the backside of old man winter, but I won't hold my breath. I have a feeling that ground hog is nothing but a filthy liar and spring won't come any earlier than it usually does.

By the way, only one call from the cardiologist today to reschedule MLTL's next blood draw. Since he was at their office for 4 hours today for tests, I've no clue why they didn't write the appointment down and hand it to him the old fashioned way. Sometimes I think the right hand doesn't know what the left is doing in that office.

I hope your day was sunny, too.

My weather is sunny and 80 all week. I think you would agree, I need one thing to right.

You know March as been known to come in like a lion and go out the same way. By that same token, it can come like a lamb and go out like a lamb. Here's hoping.

The sun is shining in NE OH today, too---2 days is a row!! As far as the groundhog goes, he was just kidding. After all, some idiot human dragged him out of the hole when all he wanted to do was sleep.
Happy Wednesday.

It's going to be 60s here today, but I think we are supposed to get snow Friday.

HoneyHaired and I have seen kids around BigFatUniversity with shorts, flipflops, and winter jackets on. I think they are forcing spring in come hell or high water which, by the way, we also have.

We're expecting hurricane force winds tonight. Stocking up on batteries is the chore today.

I wonder if our high wind/torrential rain/thunderstorms Sunday night would count toward March's lion-ness? Otherwise, yesterday very lamby around here too :)

March blew in with ferocity here. It's so blustery we've just spent 2 hours with a power outage! Had to make a cup of tea outside in the freezing cold on my gas-fired BBQ. Gotta love the US of A!

Love the shades...winter is unfortunately not over, not for you and not for me. I heard that we can expect 6 more weeks of it and yes that darn groundhog lied...ciao
