Saturday at last

With the full moon approaching perigree, work has been hellish this week. I'm glad to put this one behind me. Though studies show we healthcare providers imagine the link between madness and the full moon, I'm here to tell you there is plenty of anecdotal evidence to refute those naysayers. Well that's behind me now and I don't work tonight, so I can relax and enjoy the show mother nature intends for us tonight. The full moon will appear both bigger and brighter.

In other news, our little family has grown. In a race to see who would become a grandparent first, my brother, (FTM in the comments) was gifted with a shiny, brand spanking new grandson last night. Congratulations, Fudge.

Finally. A tiny knitwear recipient!

Have a great weekend, and enjoy the show. I'm off to find my copy of Moonstruck.

Congratulations!

I KNOW there is a difference with the moon. Caring for Dad showed us the moon phases without looking outside.

Enjoy your weekend.

Congrats to your family! I just read a post where a woman had made a sweater for her infant son using tiny needles. I think she was using some swear words :)

Totally agree re the moon.
the trouble with these scientific studies is they are given precedence over empirical evidence, which, though understandable, does not always lead to accurate results.
Congrats on the new arrival, I guess your needles will be clacking away now!

Congratulations! Isn't it exciting to have that next generation begin? I swear that thrill never gets old.

These tiny, new people need a great-auntie who can knit wee woollies. What's your first project?

Oh how exciting! Congratulations to all of you. I hope to get to take some photos of the moon tonight. Glad you have the night off. Enjoy!

My SIL/BFF and my 3 college roommates are all nurses [2 in the emergency room] and they swear by the full moon theory - I always get the best stories from them after the fact. heehee

Congrats FTM and Auntie Rudee - that is awesome. I can't see all the cute little things you knit up. :)

FTM,
now you sound like MY Brother!

You should have heard HIM going on about my birthday this week.

Doesn't bother me though, NO ONE believes he's younger anyway.

Joy to everyone!

And I completely agree with the Full moon issue . . .
seizure activity would always skyrocket.
