More of the same today. I awakened, made coffee and lounged around in my jammies watching PBS shows that highlight Michigan. I like that on Saturday mornings. I pondered the idea of packing up my wheel to go spin, but decided that included too many steps to get there--you know--like showering, putting on a down coat, slipping on my boots and carrying my wheel through slop. Meh. I stayed home and knit.
I didn't even know snow was in the forecast for today, but as I prepared to go buy some new underwear at Kohls, I noticed it was snowing like mad. Ugh.
Oh sure, it's pretty and magical looking, but I'm over it. Over. It.
Hence the new countdown clock. The flights are booked, the condo rented, the rental car secured, and now the only thing left to do is go find new underwear at Kohls.
Maybe tomorrow.
Sara sent me this so I could see how things seem to be piling up at her house, too.

Staying in to knit seems to be the best option
I stayed in today because it is so cold and wet out side. Geeze! That is a lot of snow. If I knew how to knit I would be doing the same thing as you.
At least the sun is shinning today, so it doesn't seem so bad.
I love snowtigue. That really does describe it so well.
You've lasted a lot longer than I would. Snowtigue - great word! - sets in about an hour after I admire the pretty white scene.
If you're floating away with Calgon you won't need underwear. See? No problem.
Stay warm and keep knitting. It's the only sanity.
I will never again say I love snow [on my blog] after seeing what you all in Michigan, New Mexico, Illinois, Georgia, Nevada....etc...have gone through this winter.

I stayed in today too. We had a very pretty non-invasive snow most of the day. Although how could I tell with all the other snow still around? :)
I would be jealous of your trip, but I'm so beat down that the idea of packing exhausts me. I'll just stay put until next month when we'll head to NC for Dr. M's spring break.
Weird, we need to do a house swap one week each winter. I took my daughter out in shorts and tank tops for some tennis today... We were sweating in the sun like dogs in 5 minutes. (Just realized dogs don't sweat...must be heat stroke).
I like sun, but since it gets to be in the 100's several months a year, I would love to see some snow for a while!
Bee, we settled on Siesta Key and the gulf coast.
Devon, it's all yours. You can keep it every February. Just finished an hour of backbreaking shoveling. It was light enough until I had to lift it up on the mounds already piled ahead of this snowfall.
Blech.

It will be nice and warm where you are going, I'm envious (in a good way) you deserve a holiday. I'm still angling for a sunny vacation but I'm not terribly successful thus far. Yep lots of snow but still not as much as three years ago, remember? It will end soon, winter is now officially half over...ciao
