A picture perfect day

Why, of course the drinks are spiked. Did you expect any less?

Giving new meaning to the word watch dog--there were two of them on the roof watching the world in Key West walk past.

I've never seen the chickens in Key West...only roosters. I know you can't get a rooster without a chicken, so it begs the question, where are they?

Filling our shopping bags along the way, we did walk here to snap this photo.

More later from paradise--we're off to soak up more sun and sand.

Rudee, you look so relaxed and happy. Did you see any of Ernest Hemingway's six toed cats?

Is that a monkey with the dog on top of the house?

Thank you for taking the time to come and visit me and leaving such a positive comment. You are the best.

Pam, I think it's a mermaid. I was trying to get the dogs in the photo and clipped off the mermaid's head. Amazingly, we saw no cats. Last time I was here, there were plenty to see and they all had 6 toes.

I can't imagine a nicer way to enjoy the sun...on the roof of a yellow cottage with a bright blue door.

You humans seem to be having just as much fun in the sun. Let the good times roll!

I wonder how that dog got up there?

Love the photo of you and your friend...it doesn't look like Sara. I forget who you went with...sorry. Anyway...I think some of these great photos should show up on your header photo when you get time. I have used ones with vacation shots before and it so nice to see them for the memories. The white sand ones looked especially great. I saw a hen like that on a documentary the other night. It was guarding a baby in China. But I don't know what it is called. Key West looks beautiful!

For the life of me I can only see one dog in that photo. I worked at a school and there were windows that looked over a few houses and the cats and dogs would climb from the boot rooms onto little porch roofs, it always made my day to see them out there.
Love the photo of you and your friend

Jadekitty, I'll post the only photo I have of them that you can see the two of them together. Otherwise, double click this one and notice that dog has two butts!

I'm really glad you're enjoying your much needed vacation.

I could use a vacation too, now.

I think the chickens are in the henhouse sitting on the eggs making more roosters.

Saw your comment on the cats with six toes. I have one with seven toes and one with six toes.
