Don't think I wasn't worried when I googled the following words: man killed at cockfight. I had no idea what would pop up, but fear not, this link will only take you to the MSNBC story that is ultimately only about karma.
I have no idea how the man was involved in this brutal "sport" but have to think that if you engage in something despicable, you shall reap what you sow. He incurred a laceration in his calf from an armed bird and bled to death.
In the video on MSNBC, the announcer shared that no charges would be filed.
I know. I'm still scratching my head over that one.
Perhaps the authorities thought it was justifiable homicide and let the rooster off easy.

Oh yeah. His just rewards.
Man - wonder if he'll win a Darwin Award?
There's - sometimes - justice after all!
I am glad the rooster was not charged.
Jeepers Rudee how awful. I just could not go look at it. Feeling better gal. Only 4 days of meds, lots of fruits veggies and exercise. Yes I am into it. Gonna tame this. Found folks all around that I admired in looks and personality and never knew they had it. Gonna make it.
QMM
I wouldn't touch that story with a 3" spur.
I hate to say this, but you know me Rudee, so I am going to.
Too bad Michael Vick didn't suffer the same fate.
Animals are the most innocent creatures on the earth and to exploit them for sport, harm them, abuse them is despicable.
Sorry. Just my thoughts.
