Knitting through life.
Do you know I watch hockey too? My favorite team are the Leafs. Go, the Leafs. We have virtually no ice hockey here, which is a shame. (No ice, no ice rinks, no hockey). I like to watch men biffing each other! xxoo
Can't make a commnt on the hockey cos i know nothing about ice hockey - field hockey yes. So a triva question - why don't polar bears eat penguins. ;-)Cheers all.
No Ovechkin and no Sidney. What will the network announcers talk about??? They don't seem to know anything about any of the other players in the NHL. I am proud of the Wings for how far they came after such an injury-riddled season. I am sorry, though, that Vancouver was not able to take out Chicago!
Michaela--The Canadiens were not expected to win, which makes this even sweeter.Ruth--I've no clue. I shall ponder it.
It sure was a sweet win for Montreal. I used to live there and was an avid fan in those days. Nowadays I adore the Calgary Flames although they didn't get far. I don't have much faith in the Maple Leafs at all...ciao
Never watch hockey but sure looking forward to the horse race this weekend. Go Super Saver.QMM
Ha ha! I stopped in just in time. Glad the Canadiens could do the dirty work. They were my grandmother's favourite team until the day she died.I've been busy putting together a collection of poetry for publishing, but I wanted to make sure and stop in and say hello. My time will be much more flexible now, so you'll see me around here more often.Hope things are well with you,Kat
Ruth, I think it's because of the lack of economical transportation between the poles.
I am so slow! I have viewed this picture off and on for a week and could not SEE what it was.Today I saw it! Thank God, you would not believe what my mind's eye has seen!!
