Kathleen, I took the picture last night while stuck in traffic near my house. The foot doctor's name is Cornfield. I was wondering why there was an S in that sign:
1. Was there more than one Dr. Cornfield?
2. Was it a possessive and the sign man forgot the apostrophe? Was he rolling in corns?
3. Was his first name Stephen and the the sign man forgot to put a period after Dr.? (his first name started with an R)
4. With that surname, was his life preordained?

Funny--we have in our town a podiatrist named Dr. Cornwell. D'ya think he just had to go into that field of practice with a name like that?

Cracked me up, Rudee! It's certainly not just you!!

I love that name. I know 3 psychiatrists: Dr. Brain, Dr. Joy, and Dr. Looney--really.

You know Jen, I don't think I know you, but your website is mighty dangerous. I think I'll probably get to know you well enough really soon. Nice animals there-and really fabulous fiber. Yikes.

Joanna-we should fix our two corny docs up.

Lisa-that's funny.

Sue B-you win. I can't beat Looney and Joy-not to mention Brain. Very funny, and especially because they are psychiatrists.

I don't even want to THINK about foot doctors after the day I had with mine!! Cortisone shot in the heel--PAINFUL!

I once went to Dr. Blood and Dr. Payne for oral surgery. They lived up to their names. (shudder)

Boy did I need this laugh, this am. Those type of things just crack me up. Glad you took the picture.

Hope all is well and that your class is going well. I need to catch up on posts. My computer has been acting up.

Have a good weekend.

This may come off as crude (please don't mistake me for someone of such character), but when I worked in insurance claims, I once came across a doctor called Dickoff. That had us in stitches for a good 1/2 hour.
