Sometimes you're the windshield

After the week I've had, I feel like hospice is killing me.

Ironic, isn't it?

I love this post the most. So pithy, so true. I love it when you get mad. I see you as a fighter against injustice. Sometimes you get battle scarred. I love tyour bravery. Im glad you have a nice safe hobby to turn to. Id be worried if at home you were a lion tamer or something. xxxoooo

After the patients I had all week I wish you'd come visit them. Oh, they're strong on the road to full recovery and waiting for their FLOOR BEDS!! That would wrong of me to get a hospice consult, wouldn't it??!! :>)
PS. word verification: exhales
How does it know...?

Is there something afoot in the universe? Everyone's week seems to have been heavier and meaner than expected.

I love what Michaela said about your hobby. She just cracked me up.

"Id be worried if at home you were a lion tamer or something."

Rudee, I am sorry that you had a really bad week. It takes a special person to do what you do. I hope you are restored to new again because what would the world be with out compassionate nurses?

Mark Knoffler is a poet. His music strikes a chord in me.

On a different note. Does Leo bark very much? Our Carmen rarely barks and she is so soft spoken. Sissy is taking her to a different vet where she lives.

Great! Not that it's killing you but your post. Today I am a bug!

Hang in there, next week will be better.

I've got Mary-Chapin Carpenter singing this - just a LITTLE different :)

Sorry you've had a rough week, but I had to LOL at Distracted - she is a hoot. Hope she made you laugh too.

i didn't watch the video..but i know exactly what you mean. just sign me..'exhausted hospice nurse.' not really sure how long i'll be able to keep doing it. have been doing it since '92....i've certified (CHPN) x3 now and am supposed to saddle up to the plate and recertify this year....the jury is out on that one. hubs reckons he'll recertify in geriatrics and i'll recert in hospice...as i said...the jury is out..
