What's a little tendonitis?

Especially when the outcome is as pretty as this.

I've been determined for a week to finish this poncho I started late last winter. Despite the aching feelings in my left wrist, and the one edge I knit in stockinette instead of garter stitch (that I refuse to fix), here is the completed pattern, Erika, from last year's Rowan Classic Winter Solace. Though I've been exaggerating that I've been knitting miles and miles of stockinette stitch, the truth is, it only feels that way. I've only knit 9/10s of a mile of yarn to get to the end of this.

What I'm searching for now is another hat or cowl to cast on for charity knit night tonight at Sue's. I'm thinking something chunky to change it up a bit.

Rudee, this is so beautiful! You are so talented.

I have to share this story with you about my mother. She was always crocheting something. She was too impatient to do large pieces, but what she did was beautiful.

Thanks Bee and Pam. It's beautiful and should be really cozy for the upcoming winter months.

Very pretty! I love the color.

I would like to buy one of these. It could cover up my lumps and bumps and the collar would not choke me. I like the draping collars. I know that is not the right word for them...but I can't think of what they are called right now. Too much Nyquil..Great job Rudee! It is gorgeous!

Love this Rudee. I know nothing about knitting, but that stitch pattern in the center of the front is glorious, and the roll collar looks really comfortable. You should model it for us!

Looks gorgeous should help keep your warm this coming cold winter.
Watch that tendinitis we have a knitter in our groups who can only spin and knit for very short periods

Sorry your hands hurt, but beautiful job. Truly.

Absolutely beautiful. Definitely fits my idea of perfection: pretty and practical. You'll be toasty warm...or maybe hot chocolate-y warm.

Rudee, it is beautiful and I sure sympathize with the itis. I am going to post all my ponchos and hats I did to match them, after they are received as gifts. I read your previous post and I bet that color goes in your stash room. LOL I love it.

It is gorgeous! What a great feeling to finish a project you put aside, pick up, put aside, etc. I pulled out a shawl last week and my husband asked if this was the anniversary of when I started it.

What a lovely piece of clothing. It looks so cozy--I want it! Hope your tendonitis improves.

That is beautiful. I especially like the neck opening, it finishes it off nicely making it look more sweater like than poncho.

You find the nicest patterns and do them up beautifully!

If Van Gogh knitted, this is what he would have made...

That's gorgeous Ruth. You're so productive. I still haven't finished the shawl I started over a year ago! One of these days!

I can't get the sound of Otis Redding singing "Try a Little Tendonitis" out of my head. My word verification is "yabead" so maybe you need to attach some beads
