Mad as a Hatter

If I don't make it to the stores, there will be nothing to serve but Trader Joe's Macaroni and Cheese for Thanksgiving dinner. However, the table is set and that has to count for something.

I'm ready for my closeup, Mr. Demille.

This is Tam B from Three Tams. I love how the patterns are similar, and yet different.

Talk about cutting it close--this is all that's left of the Cashmerino Aran yarn--a mere 8 yards. The keys are there for size reference.

I LOVE Tam B! Great colors.

I thought the keys were there to remind you to go to the store. Although mac n cheese sounds pretty fabulous to me :)

Dana, Tam B is my favorite, too, but that's because I loved the colors in the striped yarn I used. The second hat I knit is pretty special because the beige colored yarn was spun by me. It's so soft and beautiful.

You could serve me mac and cheese on one of those 'plates' any old time. Fabulous! Well done.

Those are very pretty! Are you giving them as gifts?

You really did cut it close! Fortunately you had more than you needed and not less. :)

The TAMS are so beautifull what a lovely way to display them.
Food is not that important thei year for Christmas we are having pizza - Nat son is hosting and has bought a small Pizza oven so we will be getting make your own pizza - so far all I have to contribute is some ham ( will get a leg about a week before to enjoy ) and a salad and maybe a cheescake - not a great deal of effort - but will be a great day - hope its not over 37C that 100 F on the day.
Dosen't matter if you have mac and cheese for thanksgiving. American folks that i knit with here are working out how to work all day and have a turkey cooked for dinner.

Lovely.

(I'm not ready for my closeup, Mr. De Mille--unless the movie is The Wreck of the Hesperus.)

Wow, you're serious about your knitting!

I can make slippers. Knit 9, Purl 1, Knit 9, Purl 1, Knit 9 and repeat (x) times... Then just Knit a bunch of rows until it's long enough... I still have never figured out a good way to end them... my grandmother never got around to showing me that before she died. The way I do it is certaqinly wrong, but it works!
