Message in a photo...

This was a great tragedy. Our men and women who die every day in senseless wars is an ongoing tragedy.

I find it ironic that the president who would not salute calls for half staff flag.

Our flag should be permanently at half staff. I fear the nation is in its death throes...and not because of guns.

Just my opinion as a gun toting, flag loving, American.

This has been a week of violence in both our countries. 2 killed 22 wounded at a block party in public housing on Monday. 4 more shootings since and then what happened in Aurora. It is unbelievable, the world is going mad...ciao

It troubles me, Rositta, that the violence is spilling into a peaceful country like yours. Here it's sort of expected, but in Toronto, well it's just so sad. One of the women killed in Denver was at the Eaton Center shooting last month. How's that for irony? She escapes one melee to be killed a few short weeks later. The world has gone mad.

It's very, very sad.
As details of the killer unfold, one wonders how it could have been prevented, did he show any telltale signs?
But for the families of those killed, they have to live with a terrible tragedy of their loved one going to the cinema and being murdered.

It is so heartwrenching. But it just continues. Why?

Now call me daft, but. . .what am I missing in the photo? What's the message?
