Week's end.

Midnight on my street.
It's only 3 months late, but winter is apparently here. Finally!
I wish you could see better, but that's a cupid hanging on K's porch and shining at us from across the street.

Since I don't clock back into work until Monday afternoon, I don't have to worry about cursing myself & I can dare to talk about my week now that it's over.

Something really spooky happened.

Since my full moon instigated Monday night from hell, my phone has not rung once. Not once. It's a miracle that I know is short-lived, so I'll enjoy the week for what it was: Relaxing. No more driving in circles for me! What a treat! I almost felt guilty working so little while collecting a decent salary and then I quickly rethought that position. I've worked like an animal for months and I think the Universe cut me a break after Monday.

I'll just send up a big thank you and leave it at that.

The other miracle? It's finally snowing in Detroit. I got home this evening right before our Canadian friends opened the door and sent a clipper our way. We were supposed to get an inch or so of the fluff, but there is at least 3 times that amount already on the ground and it isn't supposed to let up for another 7 hours. Shovels will be involved in clearing out this mess, but I don't really care. The week is done, work is over and there is no reason to leave the warm confines of my nest.

It's Saturday--a day to rest--with the added bonus of being cozy and warm in my wool.

See what happens when I leave!

I went out there, (Michigan) . . . and had to pay someone to shovel off my roof here, (New England).

I leave there . . . and it starts snowing, there!

Here in New England . . . the snow plows are quiet.

What a great picture. Enjoy your time off and stay warm.

We have cold weather for Texas, and thankfully it stopped raining. I don't care much for the cold because it makes me hurt all over.

Does Leo like the snow? Just wondering.

You're welcome, thought you might like some. We got about 6 inches in the weirdest drifts you ever saw thanks to the winds. Not only did we have to shovel our driveway but our friends who are currently enjoying sunny Bermuda, ugh jealous me. I'm trying to knit too but one eye is still wonky after the laser thingy...ciao

Wow, that IS spooky - and welcome I'm sure! We had a little bit of snow - & actually some roads were slightly treacherous today as the wind kept blowing the snow around. It was nice :)

I don't want the snow but they are calling for some to come our way.

Stay warm and safe and enjoy your down time.

Just catching up and hoping you had a relaxing weekend. The picture is beautiful. I love the snow and we have yet to get 2 inches total. Grrr. Then again, I don't have to drive in it. :)

Have a great week. Be safe.

Oh Rudee sorry your doggie lost. I wondered what happened to the snow on its way to Ky. It spilled it all up there. For the last 3 weeks we have had light cover of snow one day each week. Snow that was beautiful coming down but disappeared by the end of that day. So we are still waiting. All those big salt trucks sitting out there like rabbits waiting to pounce on the slick streets. Glad to hear the news about work.
