If you're weary of cold, or snow, or wintry rain, or short days and long nights, take heart. It's only 42 days until Groundhog's Day!
So light some candles, revel in the knowledge that this can't last forever and enjoy your lovely Winter Solstice. You're welcome.

I dislike winter but do know our winters are nothing compared to most.
Thanks for supplying the light at the end of the tunnel.
Solstice means the light is coming back, baby!!
I don't count down to anything except Christmas :)
Hope you have a more comfortable winter than normal [no snow, ice, rain, gloomy days] just so you can smile more.

Winter Solstice is always a good day. More daylight time, although it increases in miniscule increments for a while.
I love this thought. Can spring be far behind?
It's been cold and dreary here all month. (Well, cold for Tucson that is.)
I'm pretty tired of it already.
Well, I can bundle up to keep warm. Only so much you can take off in the heat.
