Yarn Diet

Rudee's new kitchen and the reason she is officially on a yarn diet.

Tonight I had to call the yarn store and tell them to put the yarn they were holding for me back on the shelf.

I can't afford it...not when I have home inspectors to pay, appliances to select and window treatments to buy.

It's all over now except the signing of a gazillion more pieces of paper. We close at the end of our lease here in March and once again, we'll be moving.

Being no fool, I'm going to start packing now.

thanks for your kind comment about my little ewes.

Yea! It is beautiful! Hopefully this will be your last move for many years.

Don't worry about the diet. You probably have enough in your stash to keep you in projects for a good year!

May your new kitchen (and new home) bring you happy times. Congratulations!

Thanks all. Devon...that Rowan Alpaca/Cotton blend really spoke to me--even though I don't like knitting cotton. It was sooooo soft. And gray. Very gray.

Sigh.

Take it easy Rudee, I've been living since Aug. in our new house and we still don't have any window treatment -it can wait!!

Nice kitchen. Like the back splash. Too bad about the yarn...you hated knitting cotton, anyway. You've been saved!

Congratulations! It will all work itself out. And you be adding to your yarn stash soon. How exciting!

I wish not concur on it. I regard as nice post. Especially the title attracted me to read the whole story.

I sincerely could NOT be happier for someone than I am for you right now.

This just made my whole day. I am so excited. As Devon said you probably have enough in your stash to do it up right without buying more.

Let us know when you move so we can send a long a house warming gift, 'kay? And no it isn't going to yarn. LOL I have to keep hubby in the loop too. :)

Very sensible plan, the not packing. Yarn diets, though, I don't know...

I'm sure, if you are like me, you have enough yarn for the rest of your life.
