It's been ages since I made my very own pair of slippers, and I wouldn't have a clue how to do it now. I love to look at beautiful fiber and handmade items. In the knitting world, if one has a knitting machine it that a good thing or a bad thing? I never did master that very well. :)Quiltluverhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09698174417233923277noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6810714864765099820.post-57060930121372441602009-09-10T19:50:49.991-04:002009-09-10T19:50:49.991-04:00I envy your talent!I envy your talent!Gailhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04219479223227928561noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6810714864765099820.post-20751659710521977112009-09-10T19:26:18.012-04:002009-09-10T19:26:18.012-04:00I actually like to follow charts, I just move an o...I actually like to follow charts, I just move an oversized sti cky one line above where I am working to help me keep track.

What is it with the Fetching pattern. Every knitter that I know, myself included, has knit these things! My friend altered the pattern to take the cable out of the wrist area, put one cable down the center and used a different fancy yarn to dress up an extra long cuff which she folds over... very cute!

Also, loose the picot BO to keep it from curling!Devonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05563150483422859462noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6810714864765099820.post-15164624021312672612009-09-10T18:58:52.505-04:002009-09-10T18:58:52.505-04:00I love the fetching pattern but I did a few too ma...I love the fetching pattern but I did a few too many too. I bet a covering that one could just fold back would be good.
QMMAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6810714864765099820.post-23263561264537947202009-09-10T16:14:19.070-04:002009-09-10T16:14:19.070-04:00peggyln, they make great gifts. It gets so cold here that we need everything covered, but this would have an option. I hope I can find some for a baby size also because I think my grandababy would like them. I am also glad you reminded me to go the Ravelry. I am not sure if I commented on the previous blog. The baby has been here this week. Too bad about the fair, but if the economy improves soon maybe something will keep it intact.
