The kids and I were in the basement last week. One day it was in the mid 70's and two days later snow and 30's. Sounds like Michigan's climate is more stable than ours.
Brendahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04373560689980768576noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6810714864765099820.post-54528735086421317992013-02-04T12:15:26.263-05:002013-02-04T12:15:26.263-05:00I expect that hat is finished now...I always knit ...I expect that hat is finished now...I always knit really fast when the yarn is running out. Like that will somehow make it last just long enough.
Your mitts are so pretty and I agree their chosen LL yarn is too busy for the lace. Did you notice that the question of lacing is answered with I-cord? But the nice thing about making a pattern your own is that you can have ribbon if you want. Can't wait to see them all finished and going to dinner parties. The Downton Abbey...You have so been knitting a lot!
The Downton Abbey challenge gloves/warmers are really lovely ( I already admired Stephanie's), they seem to have everything you could wish for in a pattern (which leads me to think it's probably a complicated pattern!).
I really like that hat too...hope you have enough yarn, I hate that feeling "will I?/ won't I?", until the last stitch is bound off.
Good your roadtrip can be postponed, does that mean you get more time with your son until then?Mimihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08100985140335023467noreply@blogger.com
